I got love for La Jolla

Museum of Contemporary Arts
Stunning…Effervescent…Fascinating…Timeless

Today my road dog and I stepped out into the town of La Jolla to visit the Museum of Contemporary Arts. Let me tell you we had a blast! For starters, the museum is located in an area that exudes both timeless and modern day beauty. There are bright colors of reds, yellows, purples, pinks; the streets are adorned with gorgeous flowers and plants.

Advance Screening of The Green Lantern

On yesterday I found myself feeling something that I thought I would never feel. I was STAR STRUCK! I went to the advanced screening of The Green Lantern and guess who showed up? That's right...Mr. Ryan Reynolds himself. I must say I was a bit surprised that he didn't take pictures with any of his fans and he signed very few autographs. He did however give several interviews and I found myself squeezing through the crowds trying to get as close to him as I could.

Mom & Daughter Excursion

Today my daughter and I hung out, bonded and enjoyed each other's company as we tested the Sushi waters. This was a really big deal for us. To give you an idea of how big, I'll have to tell you guys where we are from . THE SOUTH!

A Sweetheart Making Treats From the Heart

This past weekend I was invited to a surprise birthday party for one of my friends at a beautiful park in Poway, California. It was pretty different from any type of birthday party I have ever been to. Everyone had to bring a dish...potluck style. Pretty neat idea if you ask me.

My tribute to our "Gentle Rocks"

Thank you for being wonderful fathers...

Often times we see and hear so much about Mother's Day and not enough about our Fabulous Fathers. While I as a mother of three can truly appreciate all of the love expressed to us on that day I would like to take this time to show love to the great fathers out there.

Living in San Diego!

June 4, 2011
My hubby surprised me on my graduation night with a dinner for two at The Melting Pot. I have been wanting to visit this spot since we first moved to San Diego about a year ago. I was TOO excited! I had read several reviews on the place before so I was sure that the attire was "dressy" and the menu was "Fondulicious".
