The Literati...A GREAT BUY!
Okay, so I have been spending so much "Moolah" on books from Barnes & Noble for the past couple of years. My kiddos just love to read and I would prefer to keep it like that. We purchase the books and once they finish them, they simply put them in a big storage container under their beds because they have SO many. Though I still love the quiet settings in the library, I don't think the kids do. Anytime I try to take them to the library, they are less excited than they are about B & N. They'd rather OWN their books (Go Figure). Well, I thought about getting a Nook or a Kindle for my 7 year old for her 8th birthday. While out looking, I found the price to be a little too steep and while in Best Buy the hubby and I came across a reading gadget that caught our eye.

This gadget is AWESOME in my opinion. It is an electronic reader and it is PERRRRFECT for my 8 year old. It comes with 150 free e-books and it's colorful. We don't have to worry about trying to figure out what to do with their books when they finish them now.

She's currently reading The Adventures of Alice and Wonderland, one of the free books. Okay are you ready for this? It only cost us 49 smackaroos! If you ask me I'd definitely give this a two thumbs up, some fingers and some eyeballs! lol

Burt Bee's Shampoo...DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!
This has to be the WORST shampoo I have ever tried! Of course, I did what many of you may be doing right now which is reading reviews on the product online before buying. There were both good and bad reviews however when one post referred to it as being SATAN IN A BOTTLE (!) I should have taken heed. For natural african american hair, do not I repeat DO NOT waste your money on this product. It took me 6 1/2 to 7 hours to comb out tangles in a head of hair that usually takes me about 2 hours to do. UN-REAL! It strips your hair of ALL the natural oils and makes life for the next couple of hours mind boggling. Take if from me...you should stay away. That is all!
