I got love for La Jolla

Museum of Contemporary Arts
Stunning…Effervescent…Fascinating…Timeless

Today my road dog and I stepped out into the town of La Jolla to visit the Museum of Contemporary Arts. Let me tell you we had a blast! For starters, the museum is located in an area that exudes both timeless and modern day beauty. There are bright colors of reds, yellows, purples, pinks; the streets are adorned with gorgeous flowers and plants.

As my eyes danced around the area, I also saw lush greenery hanging from and vines climbing all of the high concrete walls. When we walked into the museum, I wanted so badly to sneak a picture of a few of mine and my daughter’s favorite pieces but I figured I’d better not…didn’t want us to get kicked out. The back drop on the outside of the museum was an exquisitely picturesque view of the ocean. Sorry I couldn’t give you guys pictures of the inside. You know how that goes in places like this. I did take several of the outside even though I don’t think pictures do it justice. This is a great place to take a lover of the arts, beach goers, or even shopaholics because it had a tad bit of everything in the immediate area! Very inexpensive yet satisfying; this spot gets two thumbs up for me. We WILL be returning.

Surf Boards, Boats, Canoes OH MY!

It sure does!
My daughter calls this The Cat, Rat, Dog Thingy! lol

Did hubby roll this or me?!

...without thought OR action in my opinion:)

We also stopped over at this cute, quaint little building called Wisteria Cottage to see a little of La Jolla's history. We were just taken aback when we saw the photos of certain buildings and parts of the city in the early 1800's compared to what it looks like today. Some spots had not changed AT ALL!

That's it! I'm living here forever! (smiling)
